Back-end Developer

We are currently seeking talented backend developers to join our team in developing modern cloud applications for our Canadian customers.

We are primarily building backend microservices using Go language. However, we value developers with experience in other backend languages such as C#, Python, Java, PHP, Node.js or any other language of their choice. We are confident that learning Golang will be a smooth and enjoyable process, as it is a simple and productive language. Take a tour of Go at go.dev/tour and try it yourself!

We are looking for candidates with experience in backend development, Git version control, and SQL databases. Familiarity with Linux basics is highly desired. Our ideal candidate takes pride in writing clean code, free from unnecessary complexity or "magic." They prioritize readability and maintainability for long-term sustainability.

• Go 1.19 microservices
• PostgreSQL, Redis, Elasticsearch
• Docker, Kubernetes, Kibana, Grafana
• REST API, gRPC/WebRPC, NATS event queue, pub/sub

Open-Source

• We are actively developing github.com/webrpc/webrpc, an alternative to gRPC.
• Our project gave birth to the popular HTTP router github.com/go-chi/chi.
• We contribute to maintaining github.com/pressly/goose, the DB migration tool.
